Central heterochromia is an eye condition where there are two colours in the same iris; the central (pupillary) zone of the iris is a different colour than the mid-peripheral (ciliary) zone.
My eyes are yellow in the center and I always thought it was super weird.
Me too!!!

At the risk of overhyping and being the 50th person to tell you this, Drive is really great and you should go see it. I also love this song from the soundtrack.
OKLAHOMA, MEET YOUR AMBASSADORS: If You Ain’t Bleedin’, You Ain’t Leadin’
“There’s a T-shirt designed by the Oklahoma natives Buster (Big Cat Daddy) Garrett and his 15-year-old son, Dakota, that tries to capture noodling’s loopy ethos: ‘‘If You Ain’t Bleedin’, You Ain’t Leadin’.’’
When noodling, anglers root around blindly in the underwater holes where giant catfish hide, using their bare arms as bait. ‘‘Catfish are gonna bite the thunder out of you,’’ says the 44-year-old Garrett, who took part in the 12th annual Okie Noodling Tournament, a 24-hour statewide contest that climaxes with a weigh-in of the still-living catfish at Wacker Park in Pauls Valley, Okla. ‘‘If you’re noodling, you’d better be ready to lose some hide.’’ For that reason, older noodlers realize that they’re fishing on borrowed time. ‘‘As long as I can go down there and wrestle with the fish, I’ll do it,’’ says one of the competition’s participants, Keith Compton, also 44. ‘‘But my son and me are already fighting over holes, so he may be taking over before long.”
Honestly if someone asked to me to explain Oklahoma, I might just show them these pictures. Especially that dude with cut-offs for a bathing suit.
